Nachos

Is there any greater tragedy than not enough chesse on your nachos?!

Arduino Controlled Vivarium

Making some progress on keeping temperature monitoring on my Arduino. Got it logging temperatures and relaying them via the serial port.
Needs some calibration but works!

Ordered an ethernet shield. Hopefully I can push the data to a google spreadsheet to log daily temperature profiles…

Will update with more progress

BBC News: British Gas Twitter move draws ire

Some really funny responses on twitter..
Shame about the price rise, guess you can't drop bad news in 140
characters... Or a price rise in anything really...

I saw this story on the BBC News iPad App and thought you should see it:

British Gas Twitter move draws ire

An attempt by British Gas to engage its customers in a question and
answer session on Twitter ended up attracting a riot of opinion that
included black humour and rage.

Caffeine free

So I'm going to try an go caffeine free!
Disturbed by the amount of tea and coffee I drink daily. I've decided to cut it down, it should help me sleep more at night and become less "peaky" during the day.
So with the odd exception here and there I'll be swapping my coffee for decaf an my tea for green or redbush tea.

Coupled with my back exercises I'll get back to full fighting capability.

Oh and some intense 5.5 biking....

Wish me luck

Bagels

Bagels I like bagels but as a shape they are illogical
They have an extra hole in the centre for any spread to seep out making them harder to eat

Instagram

In case nobody has noticed.... I've taken to Instagram. I'm a fan of how fast it is to transform an average image into a blinged up work of creativity...

Behind the trend as always.

Bike phase 1 is complete, operational, testing soon...

Samsung's curved smartphone gets pictured in leak

Why do we need a curved screen on a phone?!.
I just don't see how it makes much sense, maybe a slight increase in
privacy as the edges curve away from the person sat next to you...

Or do Samsung make phones so big they are curved like car dashboards....
