Resident evil 6

Finally back into to finally finishing resident evil 6.

Not sure yet if it is totally horrible, or just more gears of war with zombies..

After halo 4 maybe 4 is the absolute maximum a franchise can take before it starts to implode.

Arduino Controlled vivarium

Not much of an update, having had not a lot of time to work on this it's kind of died off. 

I've got the hardware at hand, but I'm still working on hacking the code together to get the thermal probes working. 

I'f all goes well it should read out the temperatures to an LCD screen and hopefully will be expanded onto control lighting and ventilation. 

I've also been looking at using a similar system to breed Locust, so hopefully one will be a vehicle  for the other...

Joby Gorillapod

So as I keep getting more and more attached to my trusty Nikon D60, and get more understanding of how to really use the features on that aren't just "Auto mode" I needed to get a tripod to help stabilise my shots when using a slow shutter speed. I've opted to get a Joby Gorillapod, which has the added bonus of wrapping around various objects to get a more creative angle.
Should get to test it this weekend coming with some low light shooting.
